I first came to La Plagne for what was supposed to be one winter season after university. But, like many people who fall in love with the mountains, I never really left.

After years of working winter seasons in La Plagne and summers overseas, I eventually settled here permanently with my partner and our 3 children.

We now live in La Plagne year-round, skiing and snowboarding through the winter and making the most of hiking, biking and mountain life in the summer.

I also run That’s La Plagne, my local guide to family holidays, activities, restaurants and life in the resort.

Why I Started AlleyOops

Travelling to the Alps with babies and young children can involve an incredible amount of equipment.

A buggy, travel cot, highchair, baby carrier, toys and all the usual baby essentials quickly fill a car or use up valuable luggage allowance. And thats before you even add ski clothing and equipment.

After experiencing that first-hand as a parent, I started AlleyOops to make family holidays in La Plagne easier.

Instead of bringing everything from home, families can hire the baby and children’s equipment they need locally and have it delivered directly to their La Plagne accommodation.
